Qi Fitness (10 classes)

In this 10 week Qi fitness class, we are going to dive deep into the Qigong exercises. Through repetition and proficient time, it will allow us to truly experience the Qi effects. Movements can be simple and profound with a good Qi result! We will focus on cultivating “Yi Xin Yi Yi”, meaning single-heartedly, single mindfully, with each exercise.

This is 10 week series with a focus on nourishing and stengthening the kidneys. In Traditional Chinese Medicine & Qigong theory, our bones are ruled by the Kidneys, as well as our bone marrow, brain, teeth, ears (hearing) and hair. Kidneys also store the blueprint of our ancestors and essence of who we are.

Shu Xin Ping Xue Gong contains two sets of the form. This particular Qigong form was created by Professor Zhang Guangde of Beijing Sport University. it is created and compiled under the guidance of the overall concept of traditional Chinese medicine, syndrome differentiation and treatment, the theory of viscera and meridians, and related theories of modern medicine.

Qigong For Nourishing the Kidney Water and Balancing the Heart Fire (10 Classes)

Water and fire are both very common and important substances in nature. As "Shang Shu" said: "Water and fire are what we drink and use everyday." Water and fire have their own characteristics. Water is calm, cold in nature, and moisturizing. Water in Chinese medicine, the main character is Cang, means "store" and "hidden". Fire, on the other hand, is active, warm in nature, and the characteristic is Fa, means develop, expand and spread.
