It is not only one of the most beautiful brush work, it's indeed one of best tools that we can use to calm our busy mind and heart which is much needed in our daily life. Throughout history, Chinese calligraphy has been used as a tool to ease physical tensions and daily stress. Some of the hospitals in China where have the patients to practice calligraphy daily to support their healings. In these 10 weeks session, you will learn a series of exercises for building foundation for the brush work, and eight basic strokes which is fundamental techniques of Chinese calligraphy. To practice Chinese calligraphy at home, you will need below items: 1.Calligraphy brush (small or medium size). You might purchase on amazon. Lorelei's short bio Lorelei Chang started studying Chinese calligraphy at the age of 4 in China. She also learned under her father's tutelage, who was also a great calligrapher.
