We have total 5 series throughout the year, each series contains 10 weeks of Qigong morning classes with a different focuses. However, something will never change throughout this year is 10 mins Zhan Zhuang in every class and Zhineng Qigong practice. Health Preserving Qigong Exercises course suits all levels of Qigong practitioners. It is a combination of Zhineng Qigong (Peng Qi Guan Ding Fa (Lift Qi Up Pour Qi Down Method, Chen Qi, La Qi) and the essences of some other Qigong forms. While we mainly focus on Zhineng qigong practice, but each 10 week series, we will be add a different Qigong forms such as White Crane Soft Qigong, Longevity Qigong, Daoist Yang Sheng gong, Seasonal Qigong and etc. Lorelei will also be sharing some wonderful self-healing with acupressure, Chinese Medicine and Chinese culture and characters. Lorelei's intention is to teach some of the most effective Qigong practices in the Zhineng Qigong and other qigong systems to nourish our everyday lives. She hopes through the regular qigong practice to first establish a solid and good habit of qigong routine. While we have the habit of practicing daily, mostly will enhance our immune system, and restore depleted qi and shen. With persistent daily practice, we will store the Jing in our "Qi bank." Zhineng Qigong uses the opening and closing as a principle to prevent leaking the internal Qi and the retraction of external Qi. By practicing Opening and Closing, we can increase the connection between our qi field and the Qi of nature. This exercise is proof to be one of the most effective qigong exercises to collect and gather qi, and has a good effect on strengthening the body and promoting recovery from diseases. One of our major focuses is on Zhineng Qigong, the "Lift Qi Up Pour Qi Down Method" practice. This Qigong practice has been so effective on people's health and earned it's position at 14th Five-Year Plan" textbook for higher education in China's traditional Chinese medicine industry, "Traditional Chinese Medicine Sports and Health Care". It also has been promoted in traditional Chinese medicine colleges and universities across the country; it has also been included in the textbooks for higher education in traditional Chinese medicine across the country. This practice is associated with the winter season Second series-- "Awakening Flexibility" with Muscle Tendon Qigong. This is associated with the Spring Season Third series-- “Calming the Nervous System" with Shu Xin Ping Xue Gong (Soothing the heart and calming the heart) and White Crane Soft Qigong. This is associated with the Summer Season Fourth series, “Strengthen digestive system" with “Five Elementl Qigong” and "Longevity Qigong "This is associated with the late summer season Fifth series, “Cloud Gate” with Qigong for Lung & Meditation.
