Chinese Language School of Greater HartfordThe Chinese Language School (CLS) is a non-profit organization that aspires to extend the Chinese language and culture to the Connecticut and Massachusetts community. We meet at Trinity College on Sundays and Offer a variety of language and cultural programs for all ages and abilities. Since the inception of the CLS in 1980, students of all ages have benefited from our enriching classes and activities. At the CLS, students will:
•Learn to speak, read, and write Chinese (both Traditional and Simplified).
•Experience an enjoyable and safe learning environment.
•Attend culture-enriching classes such as kung fu, traditional Chinese folk dancing, Chinese painting and calligraphy, Chinese chess, arts & crafts, and more.
This School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

Connecticut Concert BalletConnecticut Concert Ballet is a unique dance school and offers a style and quality of training that cannot be found at traditional "recital dance schools". CCB accepts students ages 3 to adult into the school. Joseph Getter/Guest Musician-Multi instrumentalist, educator, ethnomusicologistJoseph Getter (percussion and woodwinds) is a multi-instrumentalist, educator, and ethnomusicologist. He graduated from Oberlin College and is a doctoral candidate in music at Wesleyan University. Joseph has a wide range of musical experiences, from performing wind ensemble, jazz, rock, Bollywood, klezmer, experimental and orchestra music, to composing for dance and theater. He also studies and performs several world traditions including classical music of South India and gamelan music of Java, Indonesia. Joseph has been music director at Art Farm and Oddfellows Playhouse, and teaches children at the Independent Day School Summer Camp, the Green Street Arts Center, and as Director of the Youth Gamelan at Wesleyan. C. Y. Ching/Heights Of WellnessHeights of Wellness (HOW) is a state-of-the-art studio located at 1477 Park Street, in the Parkville district of Hartford, Connecticut. It offers opportunities for a variety of movement group and individual classes as well as therapeutic massage.
The mission of HOW is to restore the natural functioning of the body through movement, stress reduction and nutrition. The studio was established by Founder-Director C.Y. Ching whose background as a professional modern dancer and massage therapist influenced her philosophy of wellness and her pursuit of both eastern and western healing techniques.

Zoe MacerolloI was born in South Africa. I studied for a BA Fine Arts degree. My background is in advertising. I have always been interested in photography and the world around me to be able to stop and look and capture an image in a split second. I also love to photograph movement and capturing the spirit of dance and dancers is something I find quite difficult to do. It does me good to live outside of my comfort zone once in a while. I love the process of taking pictures and I hope you like my dance photography.
